Try something different

Ever fantasied of taking a long haul road trip right across the fifty states of the big ole U.S of A? Just imagine going from state to state, with nothing but the wind in your hair, a mattress in the back for sleeping and a nice pretty lady to feed you grapes and fresh lemonade on the way

Well ok it’s not going to be as idyllic as that but you’d definitely be in for a awesome adventure of a life time travelling over this large expanse of culturally fruitful land. The United States has always been noted for its huge range of difference in climates and terrains, from the Rocky Mountains of Alaska to the sunset stripes of California. From the East coast to the West Coast you’ll find a rich abundance of cultures, styles, flavours and music to leave you constantly entertained and invigorated whilst visiting this amazing country.

Most people just opt for the usual holidays to Orlando or holidays to Vegas when visiting the U.S, and although these are amazing places to go, a lot of the rest of this beautiful country sadly gets over looked.

How about swinging by on the happening Jazz scene in New Orleans? Or why not try visiting some of Florida’s less touristy areas and learning about the horrors of the Slave trade and visiting actual ruins of slave townships and houses. You could also stop by the infamous N.A.S.A centre in Washington D.C and look round one of the world’s leading space travel centers and learn about the finer points of Astro-physics and space adventuring.

So next time your planning that special family holiday, don’t just opt for the normal Orlando holidays or California beaches, hire a car for a few weeks and craft your own unique adventure in the land where dreams really come true, apparently!

Mistakes That People Going On Holiday Commonly Make

Getting to your destination and spending the time relaxing by the pool is what a holiday is surely all about. This should be something that is very straightforward so there should not be any problems. Well the sad fact is that things can go wrong and if you are not careful these can spoil your holiday. Here are some of the things that you can avoid so that you don’t spoil your time away.

- A lot of people overestimate what they can do on a holiday. This is even more likely to happen when there is any type of tour involved. When you are sitting at home planning out every aspect of your holiday, it seems very easy. When you are looking maps it is easy to believe that you can visit a city a day. But at the end of the day, it can get very tiring when you try to pack too much into a holiday; don’t forget how tiring travelling is and how you could easily dread having to go from one place to another every day.

- Making plans which are too rigid is not a good idea; it is far better to be a bit more flexible while you are away. It is highly unlikely that things will go exactly as you had planned and you will probably end up feeling very disappointed if you had your heart set on your plans. If you can be a bit spontaneous you will have a much better time.

- It is best to only book accommodation for the first night unless you are fairly certain about the hotel or guest house you have chosen. The photographs you see of hotels and resorts on the internet never look the same in reality. You can look around for alternative accommodation in a particular area once you get there if you have only booked in for the first night.

Probably one of the best known names in business is virgin mobile. And this huge company was established by none other than richard branson. The company has other arms including virgin america.

Where Can You Find The Best Beaches In America?

Obviously one of the largest countries in the world, the USA is home to many beaches! North America has always been a popular place for people to holiday. But if you are going to visit, where can you find the best beaches. The last thing you want to do is travel the country on your holiday in search of these mystical beaches!

  1. Caladesi Beach and the Island state park. One of the main factors why this beach ranks so high, is because it is not known all that well. This is one of the top hidden secret beaches in the USA. In Florida you can find the clear blue seas and powdery white sandy beach of Caladesi.
  2. Now to the great land of Hawaii and the Hanalei Beach. Probably a little more obvious than the number 1 choice, but still just as beautiful. Hawaii has recently seen a drop in tourists year on year, but it could have something to do with travel time. There is a very distinct line in the colour contrast on this beach, between the beach itself, the trees and the water!
  3. Once again in Florida, the Sarasota beach and with this weather no wonder Florida is popular. This beach is a typical palm tree beach filled sandy surround, with plenty of bars to choose from.
  4. Now it’s time for San Diego, and this beach is privately owned by a very stunning hotel, and they pay as much attention to the beach as they do the hotel at the Hotel Del Coronado. Notoriously clean, and the surrounding scenery pruned and tidy.
  5. North Carolina and the Cape Hatteras, Outer Banks: A beautifully unique beach, with a lighthouse. The water where swirls around sand and rock jetties, making a beautiful effect. All of you that enjoy a good sunbathe and a nice hike, will enjoy this place.

These are just some of the greatest beaches in the USA, thanks to these America holidays keep rising, now we need to find some beaches for your Miami holidays and California holidays, although maybe a couple of obvious ones here!
