Lost Luggage? Here Are Some Carry On Tips
To keep a lost luggage from ruining a trip, there are several tips you can follow. That’s good news, considering that every year, more than 30 million pieces of luggage are lost by major airlines. According to Expedia, Orbitz, and other travel experts, planning ahead and your carry-on accordingly is the key. To carry on feeling good, try these tips:
Medication
Never pack medication in checked baggage. In your carry-on, pack your daily medications like blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. Also bring more medication than you’ll actually need because you never know when circumstances would extend your travel a couple of days.
Comfort
Pack a variety of travel-size products in your carry-on. Coming in small convenient packs are wet cloths to wipe away makeup or dirt. Other essentials to help freshen you up are travel-size tube of deodorant and a small tube of hand sanitizer. Also bring your toothbrush.
Clothes
In your carry-on, bring a change of clothes. If you can’t fit a whole outfit, at least bring some undergarments so you can feel fresh after a long trip. To help you feel refresh, bring your favorite body splash or cologne.
Careful with your valuables
Your ID, tickets, passport, and important documents should never be packed in your checked luggage. Ask yourself if you’ll need an important document within the first 2 days of reaching your destination if you don’t know whether you should check a document. Keep it in a carry-on if you do need it. Also carry your money, jewelry, and other valuables with you.
