Where to go on holiday next hmmmmmmmm…

After travelling all over the world for many years now there are obviously a few countries that I favour, over all others. In the following post I will give some brief information about my favourite places and where you should go visit if you ever get the chance!

The Amazing Dubai is the second largest country in the United Arab Emirates and is located south of the Persian Gulf. It enjoys a hot, dry, sunny climate all year around with highs reaching just over 100F in the summer months. Luxury holidays in Dubai are famous worldwide, as when it comes to making your most decadent fantasies come true, Dubai will deliver above and beyond expectations! As Dubai was the first city to create the long awaited seven star hotel ‘Burj Al Arab’. The ‘Burj Al Arab’ will go beyond your wildest dreams as its standards in excellence and extravagance will not be beaten. With its ‘Palm Islands’ and the famous ‘world islands’, holidays to Dubai will leave you completely relaxed, happy and totally recharged!

Barbados holidays are notoriously famous for their fantastic Rum industry that has made the Caribbean Islands a favourite between pirates and tourist alike throughout all the ages! Barbados is believed to be the actual birthplace of the awesome brown and white liquor, with the first batch being distilled over 370 years ago. Natives of Barbados took the sugar canes that are plentiful around the islands and turned it into one of the world’s best loved sprits that is still enjoyed both locally and internationally to this day. Legend has it that English sailors, who acquired quiet a taste for the stuff, required Caribbean Rum as proof of bounty that they had crossed the Atlantic back in the sixtieth century. That’s if they didn’t end up drinking it all before they got back to England that is!

So whether you’re into supreme luxury or like to rough it on the beach with a bottle of rum, you have 2 destinations here that would make a dream holiday. I also here Las Vegas holidays are amazing too, but haven’t tried there yet.

Surfing in Anitgua

The Caribbean islands have been a holiday favourite for many years now due to their immense natural beauty, superb white sandy beaches and rolling valleys full of green lush jungle.

Antigua holidays have been significantly popular in particular due to the amazing unique flare this islands holds, that is all its own. Antigua is one of the larger islands in the West Indies and was first discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1492, during his accidental discovery of America for the first time. ‘Antigua’ actually means ‘ancient’ in Spanish and was named after the statue ‘Santa Maria de la Antigua’ which is located in the beautiful and famous Seville Cathedral in Spain.

Antigua has around an astounding 365 amazing beaches, therefore theoretically you could explore a new beach every single day of the year! The beaches on Antigua are literally heaven on earth, and are all laden with beautiful coconut filled palm trees and water so crystal clear you can see all the fish and coral plants from the surface! The main beaches famed amongst visitors are those in Runaway bay that are located along the northwest coast of the island and are particularly noted for their endless stretches of pure white sands. They are also very popular with surfers who come to these beaches for their challenging and sometimes turbulent waves!

Both Barbados holidays and Jamaica holidays are also a favourite destinations amongst tourists coming to the Caribbean, but it seems the hidden Jewel that is the island of Antigua is grabbing more of the limelight lately. This is most definitely due to the rise of couples choosing it as a place to get married and also taking their honeymoon here. Antigua now also hosts many high profile surfing competitions and has therefore gained much popularity in the global surfing community.
