Where Can You Find The Best Beaches In America?

Obviously one of the largest countries in the world, the USA is home to many beaches! North America has always been a popular place for people to holiday. But if you are going to visit, where can you find the best beaches. The last thing you want to do is travel the country on your holiday in search of these mystical beaches!

  1. Caladesi Beach and the Island state park. One of the main factors why this beach ranks so high, is because it is not known all that well. This is one of the top hidden secret beaches in the USA. In Florida you can find the clear blue seas and powdery white sandy beach of Caladesi.
  2. Now to the great land of Hawaii and the Hanalei Beach. Probably a little more obvious than the number 1 choice, but still just as beautiful. Hawaii has recently seen a drop in tourists year on year, but it could have something to do with travel time. There is a very distinct line in the colour contrast on this beach, between the beach itself, the trees and the water!
  3. Once again in Florida, the Sarasota beach and with this weather no wonder Florida is popular. This beach is a typical palm tree beach filled sandy surround, with plenty of bars to choose from.
  4. Now it’s time for San Diego, and this beach is privately owned by a very stunning hotel, and they pay as much attention to the beach as they do the hotel at the Hotel Del Coronado. Notoriously clean, and the surrounding scenery pruned and tidy.
  5. North Carolina and the Cape Hatteras, Outer Banks: A beautifully unique beach, with a lighthouse. The water where swirls around sand and rock jetties, making a beautiful effect. All of you that enjoy a good sunbathe and a nice hike, will enjoy this place.

These are just some of the greatest beaches in the USA, thanks to these America holidays keep rising, now we need to find some beaches for your Miami holidays and California holidays, although maybe a couple of obvious ones here!

Yosemite Valley: Natures Theater of Wonder

Yosemite Valley is on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It rests in the center of Yosemite National Park. The Yosemite Valley lays claim to many of the park’s most popular attractions, so it is the destination of most visitors every year.

Each spring, when the snows begin to melt high up in the Sierras, the water forms into rivers which cascade down the mountain side and pour over many of the famous cliffs and ledges that Yosemite park is known for. As a result, Yosemite is also home to many of the most stunning waterfalls on earth.

Perhaps the most famous of these falls shares it’s name with the park itself. Yosemite Falls is a crowd favorite, and is actually made up of three separate falls. The Merced Lake flows above the valley and to the end of its canyon (known as Little Yosemite Valley,) where the “Giant Staircase” begins.

Hikers and backpackers love Yosemite Park. Many scenic nature trails lead out of Yosemite Valley. The John Muir Trail runs all the way to Mount Whitney. The Mist Trail provides a view of Nevada Fall and Vernal Falls. There is also a popular trail that leads to the top of Yosemite Falls which is called the Yosemite Falls Trail.

The Yosemite Valley is an ecosystem with much diversity and many unique attributes. The valley is a mix of thick pine forests and open grassy meadows surrounded by stately granite domes and spires and densely forested mountslopes.

The Yosemite Valley is known for its unique granite monoliths, which provide a rare outdoor theater unlike anything else on earth. Many of the valley’s most distinguishing features including Half Dome & El Capitan can be seen from most areas of the valley. These cliffs tower above the valley floor. Clouds Rest peak is another notable attraction in the valley. Towering at 9,926 feet above the valley floor, Clouds Rest is the highest point in the valley.

There are three developed areas in the valley where most of the hotels, restaurants, and shops are. Yosemite Village, Curry Village, and Yosemite Lodge have many quality accommodations and are on the bus route.

The valley also houses the Yosemite Museum and Indian Cultural Exhibit. The Ansel Adams Gallery is also in Yosemite Valley, where prints and cards by the famous photographer are sold.

A visit to the picturesque Yosemite Valley is an experience you will not soon forget, and spending even one day here, you will easily recognize why this valley is one of the most popular areas in the park.
