Liverpool Hosts Crown Princess

The Crown Princess

Cruise liner the Crown Princess stopped in Liverpool on Saturday. It was touring around British Isles. British Isles is about 315,121,673.9 square meters in length. Including Ireland and England, the British Isles has over six thousand islands. The stunning Princess Crown is the part of princess cruises which can carry upto four thousand eight hundred people including crew and passengers.

After her touring around the Isles she stopped in Liverpool for 11 hours. This gave the cruise’s passengers to view the iconic Liverpool including the World famous Liverpool football stadium. Then after 11 hours she travelled to Belfast from where on Sunday they would travel to Greenock, which is based on the west coast of Scotland.

The cruise of the British Isles takes 12 days. The price of this cruise can be upto £2,000 per person. Princess Crown began operation in 2006. Since 2009 the Crown Princess has sailed through the Caribbean during the winter and also through Europe during the summer. It is one of some luxury cruises which has apartments, actually it might just be the only one. I haven’t been on a luxury cruise for a while now and since I have seen Crown Princess in Liverpool, I have already started looking for a vacation. And I think it might even be Crown Princess this winter which sails to the Caribbean. That would be a lovely present for my wife.

My previous cruise has been in Fred Olsen cruises, which was also a wonderful experience, when we sailed through the Mediterranean Sea. Cruise holiday has always been a very popular holiday amonst the families around the World. These days cruises have activities for children, parents and elderly so noone can say cruises are for elderly people only. So anyone can have a fantastic time in a cruise.

Cirrus 3 ‘Fresh Air Machine’ Utilised To Remove NovoVirus From Cruise Ships

Unfortunately, whilst most people would think of beautiful, exotic destinations and a relaxing holiday when you mention cruising, a lot of other people would think of the symptoms associated with the NovoVirus.

The NovoVirus is a collection of different viruses that affect the stomach, causing vomiting and diarrhoea as well and numerous other symptoms. People tend to link the virus with cruise ships due to the high volume of people who have had the disease after taking a cruise.

However, the new Cirrus 3 ‘Fresh Air’ machine has potentially ended this ongoing problem for sea and river cruises. The machine is more than just a simple air purifier or filter; it’s an advanced biotech product that generates a stream of hydroxl radicals, which destroy harmful bacteria and viruses found in the air and on surfaces.

The NovoVirus is generally spread through human contact, touching contaminated surfaces or eating something prepared by someone infected by the virus. The Cirrus 3 machine can effectively sanitise the entire room or building, drastically improving your chances of staying healthy.

The technology could be helpful to more companies than just those offering luxurious Nile River cruises, as they can be applied to restaurants, nursing homes, schools, colleges, hotels, bars and numerous other sectors that worry about the health of their staff and customers.

Although the majority of cruise liners are doing quite a good job of attempting to tackle the NovoVirus, (putting a strict code of conduct and general precautions in place), the Cirrus 3 helps them remove the problem altogether; hugely reassuring customers.

The biotech produt also has the added benefit of massively reassuring customers and generally making people feel more confident about taking a cruise holiday.

So if you were considering a cruise holiday for your next family vacation but were concerned about the NovoVirus and it’s effects, now might just be the perfect time to start hunting for those cruise offers.

Research Shows Over 40s Prefer Going On A Cruises

The latest research done by few cruise line companies in the UK shows that people over 40 like going on luxury cruises than people from other ages. Looks like that is all of M4 corridor and West Sussex. I am only joking. This research started two years ago in June, they wanted to see if the audience will change in that period of time. This research has helped them figure out who their target audiences are.

80% of the audience had been people who were aged 40 and over in last two years. Remaining 20% were the combined of people aged under 40 and children. You will shocked with this, from the 20% only 0.25% were people between the age of 20 to 30, crazy isn’t it. People between 20 and 30 they like to go on different types of holiday and also most of them are still in University. This is certainly the time period when we decided to do something with our lives and also at this age we look to make money and not spend. Most of us are on debt after University because of the loans we borrowed from the Local Education Authority, so cannot afford a cruising holiday.

People over 40 have had few years to save money or they are obviously doing well in your life. As you build up experience the salary goes up and you climb up the career ladder. It was quite good to see the research done by MSC cruises & Windstar Cruises , to figure out their target market.

This information can be useful for people working in the travel industry (like me), especially cruising. Now I know what age like going to luxury cruises and what age like going to short trips. Hope this post was useful for you too.
