Top 2 Places to Safari!
This is just another way for those of you that like adventures, to try something new. Instead of a hiking holiday or bungee jumping, then why not try going out on safari. Getting the opportunity to see the animals and wildlife indigenous to Africa, and in their wild state, is generally speaking a once in a lifetime opportunity.
So listed below are what is believed to be the best places to visit for a safari holiday:
There is the Masai Mara! This is arguably the number 1 destination to go on safari, for the wilderness and the wildlife. The Masai Mara is most famed for all of the Big Five that reside here. The Lion, Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard and Elephant, these are the beasts of the wild in the Mara. There is one simple reason that these animals got this name, and it was because many years ago they were considered the most difficult and dangerous to hunt and kill! There were TV shows based around Kenya and the Masai Mara as well, one of them called Wild At Heart. This has definitely become one of the top places to visit across Africa now. Kenya Safari holidays have received much more publicity recently.
The Glorious Serengeti! Definitely set in place 2 is the Serengeti, much larger than the Masai Mara, and home to one of the world’s most amazing natural events. The Serengeti is much larger, and with a much more varied flora and fauna life. The most fantastical event that occurs across the Serengeti, and up into the south of Kenya, is the Circular Migration. More than 2 million herbivores will gather together around October to surge up through the Serengeti in search of rain! The Serengeti is home to many different natural wonders of the world, including the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive 610 metre deep Volcanic Crater with its floor covering more than 250 square kilometres! Safari holidays are becoming more and more popular, making Tanzania safari holidays a more likely attraction!
