Gambling Needs To Be Avoided

Gambling is an easy way out to making money but it also an easy way out on losing money. But gambling is not you playing few hours of online poker sites over the weekend. I enjoy playing online poker sometimes as I receive rakeback deals from my subscripted magazines to play on absolute poker but it surely does not mean I am addicted to it. Addiction can be caused by many things such as gambling, drinking and mostly drugs.

Gambling basically means you bet and you hope you win but it is very dangerous. Gambling everyday without having a control over yourself to stop is an addiction. They will no will power to stop gambling. Many sportsmen have lots a lot of money through gambling in the past. Many sportsmen have been in a position of having no money from having millions of pounds at one time. Their family must have gone through hell in this situation.

Gambling consists of various things from betting to fixing and that is the line of gambling you don’t ever want to associate with. Playing poker is ok. There are millions of people worldwide who play poker as fun activity with their family. That is not gambling. People tend to forget that when playing online poker you get to meet people from different parts of the World, which helps you to increase your brand awareness. Another thing is that poker helps sharpen your mind because you have to focus and read other people’s game and also improve yours.

People who have suffered gambling addiction have lots a lot of things in their life from money to love. Some have even lost members of their family because of the addiction. I know people who have suffered mentally after the addiction and they were all living a happy life before.

Avoid the addiction of gambling or drinking or drugs.

Leader Board Of Poker Player Of The Year 2010

Sorel Mizzi has had great poker year so far in 2010, finishing inside top ten in over ten tournaments. His 4 titles this year also has helped him reached the top of the leader board this year. In comparision to last year this is a massive jump for the young man when he finished 174th and a year before he was ranked 91st. So he does seem to be doing very well this year. He also enjoys playing rakeback deals time to time.

Sorel is currently leading the pack with 1,298.07 player of the year points. With 773.57 points, it is Thomas Marches in the second place. In third it is Juan Carlos Mortersen behind Thomas with 758.55 poy points. Shawn Buchanan then follows with 699.83 points in fourth.

With 698.90 points Samuel Stein is in fifth position in the leader board. Then its Frank Kasela in sixth with 693.55. Behind him is The Shak, Daniel Shak in seventh with 664.08 poy points. Last year’s player of the tournament Jason Mercier is in 8th position this year with 652.05 points. He has still had a very good season but he might not win the player of the year title this year as he is quite a bit away. Daniel Alaei finished sixth last year and still is in the hunt to finish in top 5 this year currently ninth with 627.30 points. In tenth position with 595.63 points it’s Chris Bell. Then in eleventh it is Mike Beasley with 579.18 points.

This year’s big surprise has to be Sorel Mizzi. He has taken the leader board by a storm and noone expected this from him. Many underestimated Mizzi after his poor season last year but this year he has proved he is here to stay for a long time.

I am going to get my hand in few pokerstars rakeback and a full tilt rakeback tournament online, who knows you, might see me in the leader board one day. Impossible is nothing.
