Paradise Is Not As Far Away As You Think
There are several different areas which provide us great beaches and a toasty climate. But many of these places, like Maui, the Bahamas or even Puerto Rico are just too costly of a destination to be practical in these days of economic uncertainty.
But thankfully, even if you are not in the possession of enough money to go to Fuji or Cancun, there are plenty of excellent destinations on the southern Californian coast that will not only satisfy your craving for sand, sun and surf, but won’t leave you feeling broke. The Pacific Coast is a place that is the home of a lot of the climate and sites that many of us desire while maintaining the comforts of a mainland state. Because of its desirable position, there are many cities here that do not disappoint when it comes to a fantastic beach experience of sights and attractions.
Check out San Diego for instance. A great American city with a beautiful coastline that encourages people to participate in water sports and delve into beach culture within the country, and more importantly, all within a budget most can afford. You get the tropical paradise setting of Hawaii, or the party on the shore experience of Ibiza, without even leaving the country. San Diego is home not only to the great beaches but also to many other entertainment parks and establishments. Make sure to check out Balboa Park or perhaps thrills of Belmont amusement park. See the wildlife in San Diego Zoo and San Diego Wild Animal Park or pay a visit to the famous Sea World in San Diego. There are a lot of things to do here in a unique mix of activities you wouldn’t find in a typical beach setting. Imagine, being able to get the beach experience that a lot of people crave for while still maintaining access to other forms of entertainment in one place.
While you’re on vacation and you find yourself in the general area of San Diego, take into account that there are multiple options and alternatives for where to stay, including hotels, chain motels, bed and breakfasts and of course the beautiful Bluegreen resorts. Since there is such a huge number of people that visit the area, there isn’t any shortage in great hotels and other options available from the Bluegreen corporation that can cover many different budgets or preferences.
In the end, we shouldn’t have to sacrifice the time off work that everyone needs to spend time with loved ones in a location that is conducive to good times. Of course, this is true as long as we plan our vacations in advance. There are a lot of things that we can do on a tight budget and California offers a lot of first class amenities and views.
